1. What is Rufoof?

Rufoof is a desktop application for Windows that lets you create your own personal Telegram bot that serves files to your audience.

Here is the big picture of how it works:

  • You have a folder of files on your computer — PDFs, videos, audio, documents, anything.
  • Rufoof uploads those files to a private Telegram channel that you own.
  • Your users interact with a Telegram bot you create, and the bot delivers those files to them through an easy-to-navigate menu, right inside Telegram — no links, no websites, no accounts needed on their side.

Think of it like a private digital library that lives entirely inside Telegram.

What Rufoof (the desktop app) does:

  • Registers your bot with the system for the first time.
  • Uploads your folder's files to Telegram.
  • Lets you update your files when things change.
  • Lets you add, remove, or rearrange files without re-uploading everything.
